وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ
And We carried him on a thing of planks and nails. The commentaries gloss the second word as what the planks are bound with, the nails that hold a ship together.
اور ہم نے نوح کو تختوں اور کیلوں والی ایک چیز پر سوار کیا۔ مفسرین نے دوسرے لفظ کی تشریح اس چیز سے کی ہے جس سے تختے باندھے جاتے ہیں، یعنی وہ کیلیں جو کشتی کو ایک دوسرے سے جوڑے رکھتی ہیں۔
