وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
And We have made the Qur'an easy for remembrance. So is there anyone who will take heed? The commentaries explain why the line returns after every account: each denial of a messenger brought the same end, and each telling is meant to wake the hearer again before he grows used to it.
اور بےشک ہم نے قرآن کو نصیحت کے لیے آسان بنا دیا ہے۔ تو کیا کوئی نصیحت حاصل کرنے والا ہے؟ مفسرین بتاتے ہیں کہ یہ سطر ہر واقعے کے بعد کیوں دہرائی جاتی ہے: ہر رسول کے جھٹلائے جانے کا انجام ایک ہی تھا، اور ہر بار دہرانے کا مقصد سننے والے کو دوبارہ جگانا ہے اس سے پہلے کہ وہ اس کا عادی ہو جائے۔
