يَٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَٰنٍ
Company of jinn and men, if you can pass out through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by an authority. The commentaries read the command as one that shows up their inability rather than one that invites them to try.
اے گروہِ جن و انس! اگر تم آسمانوں اور زمین کے کناروں سے نکل بھاگنے کی طاقت رکھتے ہو تو نکل بھاگو۔ مگر تم نکل نہیں سکتے مگر کسی زور اور سند کے ساتھ، اور یہ زور تمہارے پاس کہاں؟ اللہ کی گرفت سے بچ نکلنا کسی کے بس میں نہیں۔
