فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of your Lord's favours will you two deny? Here the refrain follows a punishment, and the commentaries of both traditions answer the difficulty directly: to be told of the punishment beforehand is itself among the greatest of the favours, because the telling holds a man back from what earns it.
تو اے جن و انس! تم اپنے رب کی کن کن نعمتوں کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟ یہ سوال اقرار کرانے اور جھنجھوڑنے کے لیے ہے، کیونکہ ان نعمتوں میں سے کسی ایک کا بھی انکار ممکن نہیں۔ یہ آیت سورت میں نعمتوں کی ہر قسم کے بیان کے بعد دہرائی جاتی ہے تاکہ ان کی یاد دہانی ہو اور شکر کی طرف بلایا جائے۔
