بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. The commentaries read the opening as covering all things without exception, and gloss the two names against each other: mighty in His dominion, wise in what He makes.
سورۂ حدید کا آغاز اس بیان سے ہوتا ہے کہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ بھی ہے، سب اللہ کی تسبیح کرتا ہے، اور وہ زبردست اور حکمت والا ہے۔ مفسرین اسے ہر چیز پر محیط سمجھتے ہیں، کوئی چیز اس سے باہر نہیں، خواہ جاندار ہو یا بےجان۔ ابن کثیر کے مطابق حیوانات اور نباتات اپنی اپنی زبان میں پاکی بیان کرتے ہیں، اگرچہ ہم ان کی تسبیح کو سمجھ نہیں سکتے۔ دونوں نام، عزیز اور حکیم، ایک دوسرے کی تشریح کرتے ہیں: وہ اپنی بادشاہی میں زبردست ہے اور اپنی تخلیق میں حکمت والا۔
