هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
He is God, other than whom there is no god - the King, the Holy, the Peace, the Giver of security, the Guardian, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to God above what they set up beside Him. The commentaries gloss several of these together and in the same terms: the Holy is free of every defect, the Peace is free of every fault, the Guardian is the one who watches over and witnesses everything, and the Compeller is the one whose will runs through everything while no one's runs through Him.
وہی اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں - بادشاہ، نہایت پاک، سلامتی والا، امن دینے والا، نگہبان، زبردست، زور آور، بڑائی والا۔ اللہ پاک ہے اس سے جو یہ لوگ اس کے ساتھ شریک ٹھہراتے ہیں۔ مفسرین ان میں سے کئی ناموں کی وضاحت ایک ساتھ اور ایک ہی انداز میں کرتے ہیں: پاک وہ ہے جو ہر عیب سے آزاد ہو، سلامتی والا وہ ہے جو ہر نقص سے آزاد ہو، نگہبان وہ ہے جو ہر چیز کی نگرانی اور گواہی دیتا ہے، اور زور آور وہ ہے جس کی مرضی ہر چیز میں چلتی ہے جبکہ اس پر کسی کی مرضی نہیں چلتی۔
