بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
Praise belongs to God, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darknesses and the light; and then those who refuse set up rivals to their Lord. The commentaries note that the praise is stated before anything else, because it is His whether anyone gives it or not.
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اور اندھیروں اور روشنی کو بنایا؛ پھر بھی جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا وہ اپنے رب کے ساتھ دوسروں کو برابر ٹھہراتے ہیں۔ تفاسیر بتاتی ہیں کہ تعریف کا ذکر ہر چیز سے پہلے کیا گیا ہے، کیونکہ یہ اسی کا حق ہے چاہے کوئی اسے ادا کرے یا نہ کرے۔
