فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Whoever God wants to guide, He opens his breast to submission; and whoever He wants to let go astray, He makes his breast tight and closed, as though he were climbing into the sky. So God places the defilement on those who do not believe.
پھر جسے اللہ ہدایت دینا چاہے، وہ اس کا سینہ اسلام کے لیے کھول دیتا ہے، اور جسے گمراہ کرنا چاہے، اس کا سینہ اتنا تنگ اور بند کر دیتا ہے جیسے وہ آسمان میں چڑھ رہا ہو۔ اسی طرح اللہ ایمان نہ لانے والوں پر گندگی ڈال دیتا ہے۔
