قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْغِى رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
Say: shall I seek a Lord other than God, when He is the Lord of everything? No soul earns anything except against itself, and no bearer of a load bears the load of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you differed over.
کہہ دیجیے: کیا میں اللہ کے سوا کوئی اور رب تلاش کروں، حالانکہ وہی ہر چیز کا رب ہے؟ اور ہر جان جو کچھ کماتی ہے اس کا وبال اسی پر ہے، اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا کسی دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا۔ پھر تمہارا لوٹنا تمہارے رب ہی کی طرف ہے، پھر وہ تمہیں اس چیز کے بارے میں بتائے گا جس میں تم اختلاف کیا کرتے تھے۔
