وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَٰتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌۢ
And He is the One who made you successors on the earth, and raised some of you above others in degrees, to test you in what He has given you. Your Lord is swift in punishment, and He is forgiving, merciful.
اور وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں جانشین بنایا، اور تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر درجات میں بلند کیا، تاکہ وہ تمہیں اس چیز میں آزمائے جو اس نے تمہیں دی ہے۔ بےشک آپ کا رب سزا دینے میں جلدی کرنے والا ہے، اور بےشک وہ یقیناً بخشنے والا، نہایت رحم کرنے والا بھی ہے۔
