بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّوا۟ لَعَادُوا۟ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
Rather what they used to conceal before has become clear to them. And if they were sent back they would return to the very thing they were forbidden; and they are liars. The commentaries read the wish as a cry wrung out by what they see, and not a change of will.
بلکہ وہ چیز ان پر ظاہر ہو گئی جو وہ پہلے چھپایا کرتے تھے۔ اور اگر انہیں واپس بھیج بھی دیا جائے تو وہ پھر اسی چیز کی طرف لوٹ جائیں گے جس سے انہیں روکا گیا تھا، اور بےشک وہ جھوٹے ہیں۔ تفاسیر اس آرزو کو اس چیز کے دیکھنے سے نکلی ہوئی چیخ کے طور پر پڑھتی ہیں، کسی ارادے کی تبدیلی کے طور پر نہیں۔
