قُلْ أَنَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ كَٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَهْوَتْهُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُۥٓ أَصْحَٰبٌ يَدْعُونَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَى ٱئْتِنَا قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Say: shall we call, instead of God, on what cannot benefit us or harm us, and be turned back on our heels after God has guided us — like one whom the devils have lured away in the land, bewildered, while his companions call him to guidance: come to us? Say: God's guidance is the guidance, and we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds,
کہہ دیجیے: کیا ہم اللہ کے سوا اس چیز کو پکاریں جو نہ ہمیں فائدہ دیتی ہے اور نہ نقصان پہنچاتی ہے، اور ہم اپنی ایڑیوں پر واپس پھر جائیں اس کے بعد کہ اللہ نے ہمیں ہدایت دی، اس شخص کی طرح جسے شیطانوں نے زمین میں بہکا دیا ہو، حیران و پریشان، جس کے کچھ ساتھی ہوں جو اسے ہدایت کی طرف بلا رہے ہوں کہ ہمارے پاس آ جاؤ؟ کہہ دیجیے: بےشک اللہ کی ہدایت ہی اصل ہدایت ہے، اور ہمیں حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ ہم جہانوں کے رب کے فرمانبردار بن جائیں۔
