فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّى هَٰذَآ أَكْبَرُ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ
And when he saw the sun rising he said: this is my Lord, this is greater. But when it set he said: my people, I am free of what you set up as partners.
پھر جب اس نے سورج کو چمکتا دیکھا تو کہا: یہ میرا رب ہے، یہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔ پھر جب وہ بھی ڈوب گیا تو اس نے کہا: اے میری قوم! میں اس چیز سے بری ہوں جسے تم شریک ٹھہراتے ہو۔
