وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَىْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِى غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
And who does greater wrong than one who invents the lie against God, or says: it has been revealed to me, when nothing has been revealed to him; and one who says: I will send down the like of what God has sent down? If you could see when the wrongdoers are in the throes of death and the angels stretch out their hands: give up your souls. Today you are repaid with the punishment of humiliation, for saying about God what is not true and being arrogant towards His signs.
اور اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے، یا کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی کی گئی ہے حالانکہ اس پر کچھ بھی وحی نہیں کی گئی، اور جو کہے کہ میں بھی اللہ کے نازل کردہ کی مثل نازل کر دوں گا؟ اور کاش آپ دیکھیں جب ظالم موت کی سختیوں میں ہوں گے اور فرشتے اپنے ہاتھ پھیلائے ہوئے کہہ رہے ہوں گے: اپنی جانیں نکالو۔ آج تمہیں ذلت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا، اس وجہ سے کہ تم اللہ کے بارے میں ناحق باتیں کہتے تھے اور اس کی نشانیوں سے تکبر کرتے تھے۔
