ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
God — there is no god but He. And on God let the believers rely. The statement and the command stand side by side, so that the reliance just asked for is pointed at the only one there is to rely on.
اللہ، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اور مومنوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسا کرنا چاہیے۔ تفسیر مقباس کے مطابق یہ ایک اعتراضی جملہ ہے جو واطیعوا اللہ واطیعوا الرسول اور وعلی اللہ فلیتوکل المؤمنون کے درمیان آیا ہے۔ اس طرح یہ بیان اور حکم ایک ساتھ کھڑے ہوتے ہیں، تاکہ جس بھروسے کا حکم دیا گیا وہ اسی ایک ذات کی طرف متوجہ ہو جس کے سوا بھروسے کے لائق کوئی نہیں۔
