هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
He is the One who created you, and then some of you refuse and some believe. The commentaries take note of the order in the wording: the creating comes first and the parting into two comes after it, so what divides people is not the way they were made. And God sees what you do.
وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا، پھر تم میں سے کوئی کافر ہے اور کوئی مومن، اور اللہ جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے۔ قرطبی حضرت ابن عباس کا قول نقل کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے بنی آدم کو مومن اور کافر پیدا کیا، اور قیامت کے دن انہیں مومن اور کافر ہی لوٹائے گا۔ اور ابو سعید خدری سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک شام ہمیں خطبہ دیا اور کچھ ایسی باتیں ذکر کیں۔ تفسیر مقباس اس آیت کو پچھلی آیت یسبح للہ ما فی السموات وما فی الارض کی تائید اور اس کے مقصد کی طرف انتقال قرار دیتی ہے، اس بات کی صراحت کے طور پر کہ جس نے پیدا کیا وہی ہے۔
