أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَدْ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا
God has prepared a severe punishment for them, and the commentaries read this second mention of the threat as emphasis. So be mindful of God, you who have understanding — those of you who believe. God has sent down to you a reminder.
اللہ نے ان کے لیے سخت عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے، تو اے عقل والو، اے ایمان لانے والو، اللہ سے ڈرو، اللہ نے تمہاری طرف نصیحت اتاری ہے۔ تفسیر مقباس کے مطابق اعد اللہ لھم عذابا شدیدا کا جملہ پچھلی آیت کان عاقبۃ امرھا خسرا کا بدلِ اشتمال ہے۔ مفسرین اس دوسری مرتبہ دھمکی کے ذکر کو تاکید کے طور پر پڑھتے ہیں۔
