ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُۥٓ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُۥٓ أَجْرًا
That — all that has been said about the waiting period — is God's command, which He has sent down to you. And whoever is mindful of God has his bad deeds struck off him and his reward made great. The commentaries note this as one more of the rewards attached to mindfulness through this passage, named again each time a ruling is given.
