قَدْ فَرَضَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ تَحِلَّةَ أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
God has appointed for you the release of your oaths — the expiation set out elsewhere in the Book. What the commentaries take from it is that an oath which ought not to stand can be lawfully undone, at a price, rather than kept to the harm of the man who swore it. God is your Protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise.
اللہ نے تمہارے لیے تمہاری قسموں کے کھولنے کا طریقہ مقرر کر دیا ہے، اور اللہ تمہارا مولا ہے، اور وہی خوب جاننے والا، حکمت والا ہے۔ قرطبی وضاحت کرتے ہیں کہ تحلۃ الیمین اس کا کفارہ ہے، یعنی اگر تم اس چیز کو حلال کرنا چاہو جس پر قسم کھائی گئی تھی۔ بغوی بتاتے ہیں کہ اس کا مطلب ہے اللہ نے واضح اور واجب کیا کہ اگر تم قسم توڑو تو اس کا کفارہ دو، جیسا کہ سورۃ المائدہ میں مذکور ہے، اور موالکم کا مطلب ہے تمہارا ولی اور مددگار۔ تفسیر مقباس کے مطابق یہ ایک وضاحتی جملہ ہے جس میں اللہ نے اپنے نبی ﷺ کو بتایا کہ انہیں اس چیز سے نکلنے میں گنجائش حاصل ہے جسے انہوں نے اپنے اوپر حرام کرنے کا التزام کیا تھا، جو کفارے کی صورت میں اللہ نے مقرر کیا۔
