بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ نٓ وَٱلْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ
Nūn. By the pen and what they write. The commentaries take the oath together as an oath by the pen and by what is written with it, and leave the letter nūn itself to God, who knows what He meant by it.
نون۔ قلم کی قسم اور اس کی جو وہ لکھتے ہیں۔ مفسرین اس قسم کو ملا کر پڑھتے ہیں: قلم کی قسم اور اس سے لکھی جانے والی چیز کی قسم، اور خود حرف نون کا معاملہ اللہ پر چھوڑ دیتے ہیں، جو جانتا ہے کہ اس سے اس کی کیا مراد تھی۔
