فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ
So wait patiently for your Lord's judgement, and do not be like the man of the fish who called out while choked with grief — the commentaries agree the man of the fish is Jonah, and the likeness warned against is haste, not his prophethood.
سو اپنے رب کے فیصلے کا صبر سے انتظار کرو، اور مچھلی والے کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جس نے غم سے دبا ہوا حالت میں پکارا تھا - مفسرین اس بات پر متفق ہیں کہ مچھلی والے سے مراد یونس ہیں، اور جس مشابہت سے خبردار کیا گیا ہے وہ ان کی جلد بازی ہے، ان کی نبوت نہیں۔
