تِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
Those are the towns, whose news We recount to you. Their messengers came to them with the clear proofs, but they were not going to believe in what they had already denied. So God sets a seal on the hearts of those who refuse.
یہ وہ بستیاں ہیں جن کی کچھ خبریں ہم تمہیں سناتے ہیں۔ ان کے پاس ان کے رسول واضح دلیلوں کے ساتھ آئے، لیکن وہ ایسے نہ تھے کہ اس چیز پر ایمان لے آتے جسے وہ پہلے ہی جھٹلا چکے تھے۔ اسی طرح اللہ انکار کرنے والوں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے۔
