وَٱتَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوسَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌ أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلَا يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلًا ٱتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ
And after him the people of Moses made, from their ornaments, a calf, a body that lowed. Did they not see that it did not speak to them and did not guide them to any way? They took it, and they were wrongdoers.
اور موسیٰ کے بعد اس کی قوم نے اپنے زیورات سے ایک بچھڑا بنا لیا، ایک جسم جس میں گائے کی سی آواز تھی۔ کیا انہوں نے یہ نہ دیکھا کہ وہ نہ ان سے بات کرتا ہے اور نہ ہی انہیں کوئی راستہ دکھاتا ہے؟ انہوں نے اسے اپنا لیا اور وہ ظالم لوگ تھے۔
