فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلسُّوٓءِ وَأَخَذْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ بِعَذَابٍۭ بَـِٔيسٍۭ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ
So when they forgot what they had been reminded of, We saved those who forbade the wrong, and We seized those who did wrong with a wretched punishment, for the obedience they had broken out of.
پس جب انہوں نے وہ بات بھلا دی جو انہیں یاد دلائی گئی تھی تو ہم نے ان لوگوں کو بچا لیا جو برائی سے روکتے تھے، اور ہم نے ظالموں کو ایک سخت اور برے عذاب میں پکڑ لیا، اس نافرمانی کے سبب جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے۔
