وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أُمَمًا مِّنْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَبَلَوْنَٰهُم بِٱلْحَسَنَٰتِ وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
And We scattered them across the earth as communities. Among them are the righteous, and among them are others than that; and We tested them with good things and with bad, so that they might return.
اور ہم نے انہیں زمین میں الگ الگ جماعتوں میں بانٹ دیا، ان میں کچھ نیک لوگ ہیں اور کچھ اس کے علاوہ ہیں، اور ہم نے انہیں اچھائیوں اور برائیوں کے ذریعے آزمایا تاکہ وہ لوٹ آئیں۔
