يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّى لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَ ثَقُلَتْ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةً يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنْهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
They ask you about the Hour: when will it come to port? Say: knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He will bring it out at its time. It weighs heavy in the heavens and the earth; it will not come upon you except suddenly. They ask you as though you were eager for it. Say: knowledge of it is only with God, but most people do not know.
وہ تم سے قیامت کے بارے میں پوچھتے ہیں کہ اس کا وقوع کب ہوگا؟ کہہ دو: اس کا علم صرف میرے رب کے پاس ہے، اسے اس کے وقت پر اس کے سوا کوئی ظاہر نہیں کرے گا۔ وہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں بھاری ہے، وہ تم پر اچانک ہی آئے گی۔ وہ تم سے یوں پوچھتے ہیں گویا تم اس کی پوری تحقیق کر چکے ہو۔ کہہ دو: اس کا علم صرف اللہ کے پاس ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے۔
