قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ لَٱسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِىَ ٱلسُّوٓءُ إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Say: I have no power to bring myself benefit or harm, except as God wills. Had I known the unseen I would have gathered much good, and no harm would have touched me. I am only a warner and a bringer of good news to a people who believe.
کہہ دو: میں اپنی جان کے لیے نہ کسی نفع کا مالک ہوں اور نہ کسی نقصان کا، سوائے اس کے جو اللہ چاہے۔ اور اگر میں غیب جانتا ہوتا تو میں بہت سی بھلائیاں جمع کر لیتا اور مجھے کوئی برائی نہ چھوتی۔ میں تو صرف ایک ڈرانے والا اور خوشخبری سنانے والا ہوں ان لوگوں کے لیے جو ایمان لاتے ہیں۔
