قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّىَ ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلْإِثْمَ وَٱلْبَغْىَ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًا وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Say: my Lord has forbidden only the indecencies, the open of them and the hidden, and sin, and overbearing without right, and that you set up as partners with God what He has sent down no authority for, and that you say about God what you do not know.
کہہ دیجیے: میرے رب نے صرف بےحیائی کے کاموں کو حرام کیا ہے، خواہ وہ ظاہر ہوں یا پوشیدہ، اور گناہ کو اور ناحق زیادتی کو، اور یہ کہ تم اللہ کے ساتھ کسی ایسی چیز کو شریک ٹھہراؤ جس کی اس نے کوئی دلیل نہیں اتاری، اور یہ کہ تم اللہ کے بارے میں وہ باتیں کہو جن کا تمہیں علم نہیں۔
