فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
So We will question those to whom the message was sent, about how they answered it, and We will question the messengers, about whether they delivered what they were sent with. Both are asked: the sent-to and the sent.
ہم ان لوگوں سے ضرور پوچھیں گے جن کی طرف رسول بھیجے گئے کہ انہوں نے اپنے رسولوں کو کیا جواب دیا، اور ہم رسولوں سے بھی ضرور پوچھیں گے کہ انہوں نے اپنے رب کا پیغام کس طرح پہنچایا۔ گویا سوال دونوں طرف سے ہوگا: جن کی طرف پیغام بھیجا گیا ان سے بھی، اور جنہیں بھیج کر پیغام پہنچوایا گیا ان سے بھی۔
