قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِمَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُمْ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ صَٰلِحًا مُّرْسَلٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلَ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنُونَ
The chiefs of his people who were arrogant said to those they thought weak, to those of them who believed: do you know that Salih is sent from his Lord? They said: we believe in what he was sent with.
اس کی قوم کے سرداروں نے، جنہوں نے تکبر کیا تھا، ان لوگوں سے جنہیں وہ کمزور سمجھتے تھے، یعنی ان میں سے جو ایمان لائے تھے، کہا: کیا تمہیں معلوم ہے کہ صالح واقعی اپنے رب کی طرف سے بھیجا گیا ہے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا: ہم تو اس چیز پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں جس کے ساتھ وہ بھیجے گئے ہیں۔
