وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبُوا۟ فَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
And had the people of the towns believed and guarded themselves, We would have opened blessings on them from the sky and the earth; but they denied, so We seized them for what they used to earn.
اور اگر بستیوں والے ایمان لے آتے اور تقویٰ اختیار کرتے تو ہم ان پر آسمان اور زمین سے برکتوں کے دروازے کھول دیتے، لیکن انہوں نے جھٹلایا، تو ہم نے انہیں ان کاموں کے بدلے پکڑ لیا جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے۔
