لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٌ
It is for those who refuse, and there is nothing to turn it away. The commentaries take the two verses together: the thing he mockingly demanded is coming, and no one can hold it off.
یہ عذاب کافروں کے لیے مقرر ہے، اور اسے کوئی روکنے والا نہیں ہے۔ مفسرین دونوں آیتوں کو ملا کر پڑھتے ہیں: جس چیز کا وہ طنزاً مطالبہ کر رہا تھا وہ آ کر رہے گی، اور کوئی بھی اسے روک نہیں سکے گا۔
