رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا
My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women — and do not increase the wrongdoers in anything but ruin.
اے میرے رب! مجھے اور میرے والدین کو بخش دے، اور جو کوئی میرے گھر میں ایمان کے ساتھ داخل ہو، اور مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کو، اور ظالموں کو ہلاکت کے سوا کچھ نہ بڑھا۔ زمخشری بتاتے ہیں کہ ان کے والد لمک بن متوشلخ اور والدہ شمخا بنت انوش تھیں، دونوں مومن تھے۔
