بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَىٰ صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً
Rather, every one of them wants to be handed pages spread open. The commentaries carry the same demand behind it: each wanted his own writing from heaven before he would follow.
