وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ
and the moon is eclipsed — its light gone out of it altogether, the commentaries agree, not dimmed but extinguished.
اور چاند بےنور ہو جائے گا۔ تفسیر مقباس کے مطابق چاند کے کسوف سے مراد اس کے نور کا مسلسل مٹ جانا ہے، ایسا کہ وہ لوگوں کو روشن نظر نہ آئے۔ بغوی بتاتے ہیں کہ اس کا مطلب ہے وہ اندھیرا ہو جائے گا اور اس کا نور جاتا رہے گا۔
