وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا
and in the night prostrate to Him, and glorify Him a long night through. The commentaries agree the verses name the prayers by their times, and that the long night is the voluntary standing in it.
اور رات کے کچھ حصے میں اس کے لیے سجدہ کرو اور طویل رات اس کی تسبیح کرو۔ تفسیر مقباس کے مطابق ومن اللیل فاسجد لہ اس بات کی طرف اشارہ ہے کہ رات دعوت پھیلانے سے فراغت کا وقت ہے، جیسا کہ پہلے قم اللیل الا قلیلا سے علم أن لن تحصوہ فتاب علیکم تک آیا۔
