وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ
and after that He spread the earth out. The commentaries agree the spreading is the levelling of it for living on, and that the earth was already there before it was spread.
اور اس کے بعد زمین کو بچھایا اور ہموار کیا، تاکہ وہ رہنے اور کام کرنے کے قابل ہو جائے۔
