كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا
On the Day they see it, it will be as though they had lingered only an evening, or a morning of one. The commentaries agree the whole of their life will seem that short to them when they see it.
جس دن وہ اسے دیکھ لیں گے تو انہیں یوں لگے گا جیسے وہ ایک شام یا ایک صبح سے زیادہ نہیں رہے۔ اس دن کی ہولناکی کے سامنے گزری ہوئی ساری مدت انہیں بہت مختصر معلوم ہوگی۔
