إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلْأَقْدَامَ
He covered you with a sleep that was security from Him, and sent down water from the sky to purify you with it, to take from you the defilement of Satan, to bind your hearts and to make your feet firm. The commentaries carry the ground itself together: the Muslims stood on sand where the foot did not hold, and the rain packed it hard beneath them.
اللہ نے تم پر نیند طاری کر دی جو اس کی طرف سے امن اور تسکین تھی، اور آسمان سے پانی نازل فرمایا تاکہ تمہیں اس سے پاک کرے اور شیطان کے وسوسے کو تم سے دور کرے، اور تمہارے دلوں کو مضبوط اور تمہارے قدموں کو ثابت کر دے۔ روایات میں مل کر یہ بیان ہوا ہے کہ مسلمان ایسی ریت پر کھڑے تھے جس میں قدم جمتا نہیں تھا، تو بارش نے وہ ریت ان کے نیچے سخت اور مضبوط کر دی۔
