إِذْ يُوحِى رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ أَنِّى مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ سَأُلْقِى فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلرُّعْبَ فَٱضْرِبُوا۟ فَوْقَ ٱلْأَعْنَاقِ وَٱضْرِبُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ
When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, so make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who refuse. Strike, then, above the necks, which is to say the heads, and strike from them every fingertip.
جب تمہارے رب نے فرشتوں کی طرف وحی فرمائی کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں، پس ایمان والوں کو ثابت قدم رکھو، میں کافروں کے دلوں میں رعب ڈال دوں گا، تو گردنوں کے اوپر یعنی سروں پر ضرب لگاؤ اور ان کے ہر جوڑ یعنی انگلیوں کے سروں پر بھی ضرب لگاؤ تاکہ وہ ہتھیار پکڑ نہ سکیں۔
