فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ وَلِيُبْلِىَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًا إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
You did not kill them, but God killed them, and you did not throw when you threw, but God threw. The commentaries carry the throw itself together: the Prophet took a handful of gravel and flung it into the faces of Quraysh, and a handful of gravel thrown by a man does not fill the eyes of an army. It was done so that He might bestow on the believers a good gift from Himself. God hears all and knows all.
تم نے انہیں اپنی طاقت سے قتل نہیں کیا بلکہ اللہ نے اپنی مدد سے انہیں قتل کیا، اور جب تم نے کنکریاں پھینکیں تو تم نے نہیں پھینکیں بلکہ اللہ نے پھینکیں۔ روایات میں مل کر یہ بیان ہوا ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کنکریوں کی ایک مٹھی بھر کر قریش کے چہروں پر پھینکی، اور ایک آدمی کی پھینکی ہوئی مٹھی بھر کنکریاں پوری فوج کی آنکھیں اللہ کی قدرت کے بغیر نہیں بھر سکتیں۔ یہ اس لیے ہوا تاکہ اللہ مومنوں کو اپنی طرف سے ایک اچھا انعام عطا فرمائے۔ اور اللہ سب کچھ سننے والا اور جاننے والا ہے۔
