وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
But God was not going to punish them while you were among them, and God is not going to punish them while they are asking forgiveness. A people is not destroyed while its prophet is still in their midst.
اللہ ان مشرکوں کو ہلاکت کے عذاب سے ہرگز نہیں پکڑنے والا تھا جب تک آپ ان کے درمیان موجود تھے، اور اللہ انہیں اس وقت بھی نہیں پکڑنے والا جب ان میں سے کچھ لوگ استغفار کر رہے ہوں۔ کوئی قوم اس وقت تک جڑ سے نہیں اکھاڑی جاتی جب تک اس کا نبی اس کے درمیان موجود ہو۔
