وَمَا لَهُمْ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
What have they, that God should not punish them, when they bar people from the Sacred Mosque and were never its guardians? Its guardians are only those who guard themselves, but most of them do not know it.
ان کے پاس ایسا کیا عذر ہے کہ اللہ انہیں سزا نہ دے جبکہ وہ لوگوں کو مسجد حرام سے روکتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ کبھی بھی اس کے حقیقی متولی اور نگہبان نہیں رہے؟ اس کے حقیقی نگہبان تو صرف وہی متقی لوگ ہیں جو اللہ سے ڈرتے ہیں، لیکن ان مشرکوں کی اکثریت یہ حقیقت جانتی ہی نہیں۔
