إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلًا وَلَوْ أَرَىٰكَهُمْ كَثِيرًا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَلَّمَ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
When God showed them to you in your sleep as few, and you told your companions and they were glad. Had He shown them to you as many, you would have lost heart and fallen to quarrelling over the matter. But God kept you safe. He knows what is in the breasts of men.
جب اللہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو خواب میں مشرکین کی تعداد کم دکھائی، تو آپ نے یہ بات صحابہ کو بتائی جس سے وہ خوش ہوئے۔ اور اگر اللہ انہیں زیادہ تعداد میں دکھاتا تو تم ہمت ہار جاتے اور آپس میں لڑائی کے معاملے میں جھگڑ پڑتے، لیکن اللہ نے تمہیں اس ناکامی اور اختلاف سے بچا لیا۔ بیشک وہ دلوں کے چھپے راز خوب جانتا ہے۔
