كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
Their way is the way of Pharaoh's people and of those before them: they denied the signs of God, so God seized them for their sins. God is Strong, severe in punishment.
ان مشرکوں کا حال آل فرعون اور ان سے پہلے کی قوموں جیسا ہے، انہوں نے اللہ کی واضح نشانیوں کا انکار کیا اور رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو اللہ نے انہیں ان کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے سختی سے پکڑ لیا۔ بیشک اللہ زبردست طاقتور ہے اور جھٹلانے اور نافرمانی کرنے والے کو سخت سزا دینے والا ہے۔
