وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ
and when they saw them they said: these have gone astray. The commentaries carry the same account: named believers were mocked by named men of Mecca, and the going astray they charged was believing.
اور جب انہیں دیکھتے تو کہتے: یہ لوگ تو بہکے ہوئے ہیں — کیونکہ انہوں نے آبائی دین چھوڑ کر حق کو اپنا لیا تھا۔ یوں انہوں نے راہِ راست پر چلنے والوں کو گمراہ قرار دے دیا۔
