لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةً
where they hear nothing idle — no empty word, the commentaries gloss, and nothing said to no purpose.
جنت میں کوئی لغو اور بے ہودہ بات سننے میں نہ آئے گی، حرام بات تو بہت دور کی چیز ہے۔ ”لَاغِیَۃً“ کے معنی ہیں فضول اور بے فائدہ کلام۔ وہاں کی ساری گفتگو اچھی اور نفع بخش ہوگی — اللہ کا ذکر، اس کی نعمتوں پر حمد، اور آپس میں عمدہ آداب؛ دنیا کے جھگڑوں اور شور و غل کے مقابل یہ فضا خود ایک بڑی نعمت ہے۔
