إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
But whoever turns away and refuses — turning from the reminder, the commentaries gloss, and refusing what came with it.
”اِلَّا“ یہاں ”لیکن“ کے معنی میں ہے: لیکن جو نصیحت سے منہ موڑے اور کفر پر اڑا رہے۔ اس میں دو باتیں جمع ہیں — عمل سے رو گردانی اور دل سے انکار۔ ایسے شخص کا معاملہ آپ ﷺ کے نہیں، اللہ کے سپرد ہے۔
