يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى
He will say: if only I had sent something ahead for my life. The commentaries agree the life meant is the one he has now entered, and that the sending ahead was to have been done in the one he left.
وہ حسرت کے ساتھ کہے گا: کاش میں نے اپنی زندگی کے لیے کچھ آگے بھیجا ہوتا۔ آخرت کو ”میری زندگی“ اس لیے کہا کہ اصل اور ہمیشہ باقی رہنے والی زندگی وہی ہے۔ اس میں دلیل ہے کہ جس زندگی کے لیے تیاری اور کوشش کرنی چاہیے، وہ آخرت کے گھر کی زندگی ہے۔
