وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًۢا بَيْنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
And there are those who took a mosque to do harm, and out of refusal, and to divide the believers, and as a lookout for one who had made war on God and His Messenger before. The commentaries carry it together: it was built to injure the people of the mosque at Quba, at the bidding of a man who had gone over to the enemy. They will swear: we intended nothing but good. And God bears witness that they are liars.
اور کچھ منافقین نے مسجد ضرار بنائی تاکہ مومنوں کو نقصان پہنچائیں، اور کفر پھیلائیں، اور مومنوں کے درمیان تفریق ڈالیں، اور اس شخص کے لیے ایک گھات کی جگہ بنائیں جو پہلے سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے جنگ کر چکا تھا۔ تفسیر بتاتی ہے کہ یہ مسجد قباء والوں کو نقصان پہنچانے کے لیے، اس شخص ابو عامر راہب کے کہنے پر بنائی گئی تھی جو دشمن سے جا ملا تھا۔ اور یہ منافقین قسمیں کھائیں گے کہ ہم نے تو صرف بھلائی کا ارادہ کیا تھا۔ اور اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ جھوٹے ہیں۔
